About Me
I'm a fast talking, high energy 0-to-1 serial entrepreneur, having built businesses from the ground up across diverse industries—from software to consumer packaged goods (CPG) to the beverage industry (brewery) and even media (radio station). I pair this hands-on venture experience with a deep technical foundation from my post-graduate degree in AI and Machine Learning.
My passion is applying this unique blend of startup grit and technical expertise to help businesses reach the next level. I'm driven to turn ambitious ideas into realities, positively impact and grow the people and teams behind them, and have fun in the process.

Personal Bio
I'm Robert Roland Joseph Alix Jr.—but to keep things short and sweet, you can call me AJ.
I live in Atlanta with my wife, Sara, and our two wonderful (and rambunctious) kids, Roland and Noah. We spend our time wrangling our kids, convincing ourselves our fixer-upper project is "charming," managing an Airbnb (500+ 5 star reviews and counting!), and preparing for baby #3—in short, we're experts in organized chaos.
By day, I'm a serial entrepreneur with a self-diagnosed case of "entrepreneurial ADD." My ventures are as varied as my interests: I own a brewery in Orlando, I helped start an AI Healthcare company using machine learning to detect diseases earlier like cancer, and I even assisted in the launch of Atlanta Catholic Radio. As a Georgia Tech alum (who "came to his senses" after a year at UGA), I'm a natural-born problem-solver who loves building new things.
But my most important story isn't about what I've built; it's about how I've learned to be a "human being" instead of just a "human doing." My journey has been a masterclass in resilience, marked by the highs of launching a company and the real-world lows of being laid off and even ousted from one of my businesses. These experiences have been a lesson in overcoming adversity and finding my worth well beyond work.
I'm on a mission to make a positive impact in this life and in the lives of those that I encounter.
